The Recording Widget is available from any page with patients in HappyDoc (Calendar View, List View, Patient View). From the Calendar View and the List View, you can use the Recording Widget as a "Quickstart" to begin recording for a new patient in one click. From the Patient Page, recordings will be added to the selected patient.
Quick Start
In a hurry? Type a patient name in Quick Start at the bottom right and click Record.

Note: If no name is added, HappyDoc will automatically add the name of the patient based on the audio. We recommend clearly saying it at the beginning "So, Fluffy isn't feeling well today..." but please bear in mind that AI spelling can be amusing!
Pro Tip: Add multiple patient cases using the syntax "Stormy and Fluffy" which tells HappyDoc to generate the chosen records for both patients.
Choose document(s) to generate after you are done recording. HappyDoc will automatically generate a record when you click Stop and Generate. Or, choose Stop and Close for HappyDoc to save the recording but not yet generate a document.
If you prefer to leave the Recording Widget open for the next staff member entering the room, you also have the option to Stop the recording with the red stop button. Then when ready, simply click the blue microphone again to start recording.
