Who to contact
Billing questions are handled by a real person, because most depend on your specific plan. Message us on chat or email [email protected] and tell us what you need. We'll come back to you the same business day.
Useful to include: your practice name, and whether you're asking about the amount, the date, the number of doctors, or canceling.
To see your current plan, open Settings, then Billing. You can pick or change a plan there with Choose a Plan, or tell us and we'll do it with you.
Changing the number of doctors
Plans are sized to your practice rather than to individual logins, so adding or removing a clinician doesn't automatically change what you pay. If your team has grown or shrunk and you want the plan to match, tell us and we'll look at it with you.
Pausing instead of canceling
If the reason is seasonal, a maternity leave, or a practice sale going through, say so. There are usually options short of closing the account, and it's much easier to arrange before the renewal than after.
Canceling
Tell us in chat or by email. There's no form to fill in.
We'll confirm your renewal date and what happens between now and then.
Your records stay yours. Notes you've exported are in your practice management system. For anything still in HappyDoc, tell us what you need and we'll sort it before the account closes.
If something specific pushed you toward canceling, we'd genuinely like to know which thing it was.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Q: My invoice looks different this month.
A: Send it over and we'll explain the change. Usually a plan adjustment or a change in doctor count.
Q: Can we pay annually instead of monthly?
A: Yes. Tell us and we'll work out the switch.
Q: We're being acquired or merging practices.
A: Tell us early. Much smoother arranged in advance, particularly where an integration is involved.
Q: Do we lose our recordings if we cancel?
A: Talk to us before the account closes and we'll make sure you have what you need.
